Jeff Willert Ties Tucson’s Arena Record with an 89 in Saddle Bronc Riding
(Tucson, Ariz.) – Jeff Willert of Belvedere, S.D. is in good company in the Tucson Rodeo record books. Willert tied Billy Etbauer’s record of 89 points with his ride on Bar T Rodeo Company’s Miss Monida. Willert, the 2005 world champion, is headed to his first finals at the Tucson Rodeo on Sunday, Feb. 28.
Attendance at today’s rodeo was 7,400. The Tucson Rodeo continues Friday through Sunday with activities beginning at 12:30 p.m. each day.
