The action heated up in the fourth performance of the Tucson Rodeo. The day stared with Orin Larsen earning the day’s high score of 85.5 which puts him tied for second place in the event standings. Creighton Curley rode Beutler & Sons’ Fortune Hunter to the high score of 84.5 which puts him 5th in the standings. Lane Livingston moved into a tie for second place in the tie-down roping standings with today’s 8.9 time. Steely Steiner rose to the top of the Women’s Barrel Racing standings with today’s best time of 17.38. Today’s bull riding resulted in two riders joining the top 10. Reid Oftedahl rode Beutler & Sons’ Fake Friend to the day’s high score of 81.5 moving him into a tie for 7th place. While JaCauy Hale rode Buetler & Sons’ Venom to a score of 81, putting him in 9th place. The last chance for contestants to qualify for the finals is tomorrow, Saturday. ProRodeo starts at 2pm.
